KOMKE Engineering & Services GmbH & Co. KG undertakes service portfolio
With the beginning of the third quarter of 2006 the KOMKE Engineering & Services GmbH & Co. KG takes over the engineering and service portfolio of KOMKE Consulting (BDU).
Thus we create the conditions for meeting the rising demand for engineering and services." according to Torsten Komke, the managing director of the company. "More and more clients expect from us that we accompany them in the implementation of the concepts we have produced and thus the measures become effective more quickly. Not least we want to strengthen our position in our main markets – the energy supply industry and plant construction – and also extend it by some interesting service offers. Also it is only consistent because of the different project character and the differentiated market situation to decouple the engineering and service business from our consultancy activities. Thus we can also communicate the range of services better to our customers" adds Komke.
Already since 2004 KOMKE Consulting (BDU) has experienced an above-average demand for engineering and services apart from continuous growth in the consultancy business. As for the consultancy company already established since 1996, municipal utilities, energy producers, plant operators and planners also stand in the focus of interest for the KOMKE Engineering & Services GmbH & Co. With effect from 01.07.2006 the following range of services will be offered by the newly founded company:
- Comprehensive control of plant documentation during planning, approval, erection and commissioning
- Integration and harmonization of comprehensive physical and electronic information inventories
- Introduction and integration of document management solutions
- Introduction and integration of solutions for legally safe communication and archival
- Reorganization of comprehensive documentation inventories in all areas of the power supply industry and of plant construction
- Development of customer-specific software solutions by use of the latest engineering methods and technologies
- Undertaking research and development projects in the area of automatic structure recognition as well as in the field of preparation and examination of document contents
- Project management for engineering and surveying projects
Apart from qualified employees with experience in projects, the company also relies on cooperations with technology suppliers and universities. "Thus we want to offer especially information scientists and economists the possibility of entry into a very complex material, which, apart from technical understanding, ability to think in abstract terms and intuitive understanding of the needs of the clients, also requires taking economic aspects into account. Naturally we also promise ourselves impetuses for our company. As consultants we rely on what has been proven and frequently view innovations with healthy scepticism. The turbulences in recent years have confirmed us in this approach.
