The power supply industry can no longer exist without comprehensive solutions for document administration and archival. But many approaches are limited solely to the introduction of software. Taking the DREWAG Stadtwerke Dresden GmbH as an example, the article shows how the technical, organizational, industrial psychological, ergonomic and economic aspects as well as the legal aspects can be taken into account and lastingly efficient solutions can be created by a comprehensive approach.
