Workshop "Document management systems in the CAD environment"
On the occasion of the 37th cegug user meeting in 2005, the KOMKE Consulting (BDU) was invited to lecture on the subject of "Document management systems in the CAD environment".
The cegug e.V. (central european graphics user group) is the union of the users of Intergraph products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Document management systems (DMS) are today already in wide use. But what is the situation regarding expedient use in the CAD environment? Possibilities of use are outlined in the lecture, and potentials and risks are indicated. Specifically the workshop illustrates the requirements and outline conditions for taking over documents from CAD systems into document management systems.
